Saskatchewan Farmland Value Trend - Northwest Region 2017

Agricultural Market research in the northwest region of Saskatchewan indicates that cropland has appreciated in value approximately 4% on average in 2017. The analysis includes sales research in areas including, but not limited to, North Battleford, Meadow Lake, and Prince Albert. Lease rates in these areas were primarily in the range of $45- $55 per acre with higher quality lands attaining higher rates and inferior lands attaining lower rates.
