research in the northeast region of Saskatchewan indicates that cropland has
appreciated in value approximately 9% on average in 2017. The analysis includes
sales research in areas including, but not limited to, Humboldt, Melfort,
Prince Albert, Nipawin, and Tisdale. Lease rates in these areas were primarily
in the range of $50 - $60 per acre with higher quality lands attaining higher
rates and inferior lands attaining lower rates.
